Advance Program

The advance program contains the presentation of 26 full papers, 12 work-in-progress papers and 10 poster papers. In addition, it features three keynote speeches and four panel discussions. The keynote speakers are world-renowned scholars with visionary insights on the development and trend of service science research and practices: Dr. Simon Chang, minister without portfolio, Executive Yuan in Taiwan; Dr. Martin Fleming, IBM’s Chief Economist and Vice President, Business Performance Services; Julia Schaeper, fellow of the Royal Society of Arts in London and former Service Design Lead at NHS Institute for Innovation and Improvement in the UK. The four panels address major topics in service science research, especially in the Asia-Pacific region, including service innovation and service science research, service marketing, and service engineering. Finally, four workshops are arranged to showcase the achievements of service science society in Taiwan (S3TW) and it local chapters—in particular attendees from Taiwan and from similar organizations from around the world may be interested in these workshops. We are confident that the ICSSI2013 will offer an exciting and enriching experience.
